Abstract
Condylar fractures of the femur are uncommon, usually caused by direct violence to the region of the knee. One or both condyles of the femur may be fractured, with the fracture line extending into the knee joint causing hemarthrosis.
We are reporting two cases of the femoral cleavage intercondylar fractures in which a vertical fracture lines ore present without separation of the condylar bone fragments with a review of the literatures and the etiology, treatment, and prognosis of this injury are discussed.
